Our early pregnancy reassurance scans offer an opportunity to see your pregnancy developing, check for a heartbeat when appropriate for your stage of pregnancy, and provide a supportive space to discuss your scan experience with a qualified midwife.
Whether you're feeling excited, anxious, or simply looking forward to that first glimpse of your baby, we aim to make your appointment calm, personal and reassuring.

Please note: The findings possible depend on how many weeks pregnant you are. Early scans have limitations and cannot guarantee that a pregnancy will continue normally or exclude every complication. If you have pain or bleeding, please seek appropriate medical advice rather than relying on a reassurance scan.

Please note: Gender scans are subject to the appropriate gestation, baby's position and image quality. It may not always be possible to determine your baby's sex, and findings cannot be guaranteed. These scans are for sex determination and bonding purposes, not a diagnostic assessment of your baby's health.

At Nurture & Bloom Pregnancy Scans, we provide a calm, welcoming environment where you can relax, share the experience with loved ones and enjoy a special moment of connection with your growing baby.
Using 3D imaging to capture still images and 4D technology to show movement in real time, we'll do our best to obtain beautiful images of your little one, depending on their position and the conditions during your scan.

Reassurance/Presentation Scan

As your pregnancy progresses, you may be looking for a little extra reassurance or wondering whether your baby is getting ready to make their grand entrance head first. Our reassurance and presentation scans offer an opportunity to see your growing baby and check their position within the womb.
At Nurture & Bloom Pregnancy Scans, we provide a calm, welcoming environment where you can feel comfortable, ask questions and enjoy a special moment connecting with your baby, with the support of a qualified midwife.
Whether you're seeking reassurance later in pregnancy or curious to discover whether your baby is head-down, we aim to make your appointment personal, supportive and informative.

Please note: These scans provide a limited assessment for the purpose booked and do not replace routine NHS antenatal care or a diagnostic growth scan. Baby's position can change throughout pregnancy, and a private scan cannot guarantee that labour or birth will progress in a particular way. If you have concerns about your baby's movements, bleeding, pain or other urgent symptoms, contact your maternity unit promptly rather than waiting for a private scan.
Rescan and Refund Policy
Early Pregnancy Reassurance Scans
A complimentary rescan may be offered following an early pregnancy scan where viability cannot be confirmed at the initial appointment and a follow-up scan is clinically appropriate. Rescans are offered at the discretion of the sonographer and in accordance with clinical guidance.
Gender and 3D/4D Bonding Scans
Gender determination and 3D/4D bonding scans depend on factors including your baby's position, gestation and image quality. Although every effort will be made to obtain suitable images, this cannot be guaranteed.
Complimentary rescans are not offered for gender or 3D/4D bonding scans where the desired images cannot be obtained due to baby's position or other technical limitations. Refunds are not offered solely because gender determination is unsuccessful or suitable 3D/4D images cannot be obtained, provided the booked service has otherwise been delivered as described.
